Kahuna Whale Watching

Your adventure awaits you. Whether you are a seasoned whale watcher or your first time on the water just know that every day is unique. Nature has it's way of ever changing and that's what makes it so much fun!

On board your naturalist has extensive knowledge of all marine life in the Monterey Bay and beyond. They will not only welcome your questions but be enthusiastic to teach you of the marine life habits and tell tale signs of how to identify the sightings.

In this new age of the tech world we are dedicated to giving personalized service. If you have special needs or have any question we will be available to you. Please don't hesitate to give us a phone call 831-633-2564 or e-mail if you so choose.

What should I wear?

Always dress in layers. It can be chilly on the bay even during summer months.

What should I bring?

Camera to capture your experience. If you have binoculars bring them along. We do have snacks and water on the boat but you are welcome to bring your own. Don't forget your sunscreen. Even on cloudy days you can get burned. If you are prone to motion sickness it is advised that you take some sort of seasick medication so you can enjoy your trip. It is more effective if you get it in your system at least an hour before boarding the boat.

What are the times?

Check out our schedule and book your trip on line. If you don't see a certain date give us a call 831-633-2564. We might be able to accommodate you. Please check in at least an hour before your scheduled departure.

Anything else I need to know?

The harbor charges $8.00 to park your car in the lot. Please bring cash for your parking permit. We may have to cancel a trip due to weather conditions or lack of participation. We will try to give you as much time as possible so you can make other plans. Hopefully we will be able to reschedule you for another trip. If your plans change and you need to reschedule we require 48 hours notice.
